Grape juicer machine exported to South Africa
In early 2025, our company exported a large-capacity grape juicer machine to a grape juice production facility in South Africa. The facility processes locally grown grapes and produces bottled grape juice for both domestic retail and export markets.
In order to increase throughput, reduce labor costs, and ensure consistent product quality, the customer invested in a high-efficiency juicer system.

Customer requirements
During consultation, the South African customer defined several key requirements:
- Material: Grapes (red and white varieties), which require gentle and efficient extraction to preserve flavor and colour.
- Capacity: At least 500 kg/h throughput to meet harvest-season peaks.
- Hygiene & material contact: All parts touching the juice must be stainless steel (food-grade) to meet regulatory and export standards.
- Separation of residue and juice: Clean juice output with minimal pomace content, and automatic separation of waste.
- Integration: Must fit into the existing bottling line, feeding into the bottling and packaging stage with minimal downtime.

Equipment configuration & solution
Our engineering team recommended the large-capacity grape juicer machine with the following features:
- Screw press system: The machine uses a spiral barrel which compresses the pulp and separates juice from slag/residue.
- 304 stainless steel construction: Ensures hygiene, durability, and ease of cleaning.
- Automatic separation and discharge of pomace: The machine automatically pushes out residue, allowing continuous operation.
- Processing capacity 500 kg/h: Matches the customer’s throughput target.
- Size & power specs: 1100×450×950 mm, weight ~75 kg, 2.2 kW power (380 V).
- Line integration: The grape juicer machine was set up upstream of the bottling machine; after extraction, juice was pumped into the bottling line for further packaging.

Conclusion
With the combination of high throughput, hygienic design and automated performance, the machine enhanced the customer’s production capacity, reduced labor and improved product competitiveness.
The customer has indicated plans to purchase an additional unit to expand capacity further and to start producing additional fruit-based juices beyond grapes.
