Vegetable dicer is designed to efficiently and uniformly cut vegetables into small, even-sized pieces, often referred to as “dices” or “cubes.” This machine automates the process of manually chopping vegetables, saving time and ensuring consistent results. The vegetable dicing machine is suitable for dehydrated vegetables, frozen vegetable processing plants and food pickle industry to process all kinds of root vegetables into square and rectangular shapes.
The vegetable dicer machine adopts composite knives, one-time molding, regular shape, a smooth cutting surface and a high molding rate. In addition, the machine is advanced in design, easy to operate, low energy consumption, high efficiency, the use of aluminium-magnesium alloy and stainless steel materials, anti-corrosion and beautiful, in line with health standards.
What is the structure of the vegetable dicing machine?
Typically, a vegetable dicing machine consists of a feed chute where you place the vegetables, a cutting mechanism equipped with sharp blades, a transmission system and a power control system. The machine operates using either manual input, where the user feeds the vegetables through the chute, or through an automated process for higher-volume operations.
The base, shell, hopper and main parts are made of aluminium-magnesium alloy and stainless steel to ensure long-term work without rust.
Working principle of the vegetable dicing machine
The machine’s dial drives the raw materials to rotate at high speed, utilizing centrifugal force. With the help of the vertical blade, the material is sliced into thin pieces. It then goes through the circular blade to be cut into strips, which are subsequently fed into the cross-cutting blade. This cross-cutting blade transforms the material into the desired cubes or rectangular shapes.
Application of the vegetable dicer machine
These machines are widely used in commercial kitchens, food processing facilities, and restaurants where large quantities of diced vegetables are required for various culinary applications. They not only enhance efficiency but also contribute to the uniformity and presentation of dishes. Additionally, vegetable dicing machines come with different blade attachments and can cut cubes of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, and 20 mm, allowing for customization of the size and shape of the diced vegetables to suit specific recipes and culinary preferences.
How to use the vegetable dicer?
1. Preparation:
Wash the vegetables and remove the outer skin and unwanted parts.
Cut the vegetables into pieces of the right size to fit the feed opening of the dicer, as needed.
2. Setting up the machine:
Place the vegetable dicer on a smooth work surface.
Ensure that the plug is inserted into the mains socket and follow the instructions in the operating manual to ensure that all safety devices have been set correctly.
3. Starting the machine:
If manually operated, activate the power switch.
If operating automatically, some parameters may need to be adjusted depending on the machine model and settings.
4. Pitching the vegetables:
Drop the prepared vegetable pieces one by one into the feed opening of the dicer.
5. Observe and monitor:
Pay attention to the operating status of the machine to ensure that the vegetable pieces are cut evenly.
6. Adjust the size of the cubes (if needed):
Replace the cutting head or adjust the machine settings as needed to obtain the desired block size.
7. Collecting the cut vegetables:
The cut vegetable pieces will fall out of the machine’s outlet into a collection container or tray.
8. Switching off the machine:
Disconnect the power supply by switching the power switch off when you have finished using the machine.
9. Cleaning and Maintenance:
Clean the block cutter, including removing residual vegetable pieces and washing the cutting parts.
Check and maintain the machine regularly to ensure proper operation.
10. Storage:
If not used frequently, store the block cutter properly to prevent damage or corrosion.
