Automatic cocoa paste production line shipped to Egypt
In mid-2025, we successfully shipped an automatic Cocoa paste production line to a chocolate manufacturer in Egypt.
The customer sought to upgrade from small batch manual cocoa paste processing to a fully automated, large-scale production line to ensure consistent quality, higher output, and savings in labor.
Reason to buy our automatic cocoa paste production line
The customer is a mid-sized confectionery company based in Cairo, Egypt, which produces finished chocolate bars, spreads, and coating sauces.
Previously their cocoa paste was imported or produced using semi-manual equipment, which led to inconsistencies in texture, flavor, and supply delays. They decided to acquire a full cocoa paste production line to vertically integrate more of their supply chain.

Key specifications
Requirement | Target |
---|---|

Key parameters
We supplied the customer with the following line, using parameters drawn from the product specifications:

- Components: Roaster, Peeling machine, Grinding (Colloid) mill, Homogenizer, Cocoa mass (paste) storage jar.
- Cocoa bean roasting machine: 18 kW power; dimensions 3000 × 1200 × 1700 mm; capacity around 50-500 kg/h depending on roast level.
- Peeling machine: 0.75 kW; size 1200 × 1100 ×1200 mm; capacity 200-500 kg/h.
- Grinding machine (cocoa paste grinding / colloid mill): 7.5 kW; 750 × 450 × 1000 mm; capacity 300-1,200 kg/h for making fine paste.
- Homogenizer unit: installed after the grinder to refine texture, decrease particle size, ensure uniform fat distribution and smoother paste. Adjustable pressure / flow settings.
- Storage / mass jar: Insulated, with stirring / mixing mechanisms to maintain stable texture, temperature control to prevent separation or oxidation.
Automatic cocoa paste production line performance in Egypt

- Product quality has improved: the homogenizer ensures uniform texture; residual shell content is negligible; flavor profiles are consistent across batches.
- Operational reliability has been strong despite high ambient temperatures; the roasting drum and cooling systems cope well, and stainless steel construction helps with hygiene and durability.
- Compared with their prior semi-manual process, labor costs dropped significantly; machine automation reduces variability and allows technicians to focus on quality control rather than manual handling.
- The storage jar’s insulation and stirring mechanism ensure that the paste remains stable overnight and during slower production periods without separation.
